Throughout the year I play the great Highland bagpipes solo and in several pipes and drums bands across the greater Roanoke Valley area for a variety of performances, including graduation ceremonies, Highland Games, retirement celebrations, parades, Renaissance Faires, church services, weddings, funerals, and other social and cultural events.

  • Played bagpipes with the Roanoke Regional Emerald Society Pipes and Drums for the Roanoke Catholic School Graduation Ceremony, Roanoke, VA, 31 May 2025

  • Played bagpipes with the Appalachian Piping Academy for the Glenvar High School Graduation Ceremony, Salem Civic Center, Salem, VA, 28 May 2025

  • Joined the Roanoke Regional Emerald Society Pipes and Drums to play bagpipes for the 70th annual Vinton Dogwood Festival Parade, Vinton, VA, 28 April 2025

  • Joined the Appalachian Piping Academy to play bagpipes for the Sedalia Center Celtic Festival and Highland Games, Big Island, VA, 29 March 2025

  • Joined the Roanoke Regional Emerald Society Pipes and Drums to play bagpipes for the 89th Roanoke Police Academy graduation ceremony, Roanoke County Criminal Justice Academy, 28 March 2025

  • Joined the Appalachian Piping Academy to play bagpipes in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Roanoke, Virginia, March 15, 2025

  • Joined the Roanoke Regional Emerald Society to play bagpipes at the opening ceremony of the annual Guns and Hoses Hockey charity game at the Berglund Center between the local police and firefighters to support the First Responders Foundation, Roanoke, Virginia, January 25, 2025

  • Played bagpipes with the Appalachian Piping Academy at the 2024 Grandin Village Holiday Children’s Parade, Roanoke, Virginia, November 23, 2024

  • Played bagpipes with the Appalachian Piping Academy at the Kirkin’ O’ the Tartans ceremony, Colonial Presbyterian Church, Roanoke, Virginia, November 10, 2024

  • Joined the Appalachian Piping Academy to pipe in the Scots-Irish clans at the Radford Highlanders Festival, Radford, Virginia. We also joined the Radford University Highlanders Pipes and Drums, the Appalachian Highlanders Pipes and Drums, and the Virginia Highlands Pipes and Drums to play tunes as a massed band, October 12, 2024

  • Played bagpipes with the Appalachian Piping Academy at the Vinton Farmer’s Market, September 21, 2024.

  • Played bagpipes with the Appalachian Piping Academy and the Virginia Highlands Pipes and Drums in the Clifton Forge Stars and Stripes parade, followed by playing Amazing Grace at a ceremony at the Veterans Memorial Park, July 4, 2024.
