Affiliate Policy

Let me make something clear: I’d love to be paid to write on my website–please don’t hesitate to send money my way! But, alas, that hasn’t happened yet. Everything on this site is all me.

Sometimes people or companies send me products (e.g., books! guitars!) and I’ll review them on my website, though most of the reviews on my site are of products I’ve bought with my own money. Note that if I don’t like the product I’ll say so. Most of my reviews tend to be positive however, since I don’t usually write about products I don’t like. But all of the products I review on my website are products I have personal experience with.

If I like it, I say so. If I don’t like it, I say so.

I also sometimes include affiliate links for products I like. This means that if you buy the product using my link, the vendor may offer some form of compensation. Your price is the same however, and I really appreciate you using my affiliate links so that I can continue producing this website.

I am a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for me to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.

If you use one of my Amazon links and then buy something from Amazon, I’ll receive a few cents from Amazon–there is no cost to you from using one of my Amazon links! Amazon gives me a few pennies for referring you to their site based on a review of some product I wrote.
