‪Yesterday I sent out the last TechnoSlipstream newsletter of the year. I’m changing things up for 2019 though.
First, I’m switching from MailChimp to TinyLetter. MailChimp is great, but really for companies who need lots of marketing bells and whistles. I also found the MailChimp user interface to be rather clunky and inefficient–I wasn’t posting many newsletters because the overhead and hassle was a big disincentive. So I’m switching to TinyLetter. TinyLetter is owned by MailChimp, but is meant more for an individual who just wants to write a newsletter.
That leads me to my second change. To take advantage of the cleaner user interface, my goal is to start posting weekly newsletters. The new year is going to be even busier and chaotic than this year, and I’m going to need the steady drumbeat of cranking out a short newsletter once a week to help keep me centered.
