I had written previously about resuscitating a dying Korg D1200 Digital Recording Studio.
Now I’m trying to learn its functionality.
As a first step, here’s a short video I made on the channel strip in an analog mixer, and I used the Korg D1200 as my example. I made this video as a part of the music production course I’m taking through Coursera and the Berklee College of Music.
The main point of the video is to help you understand the main components of a mixer’s channel strip, how the signal flows
through the channel strip, and how, though the signal flows in general from top to bottom, there are often exceptions, especially in a hybrid unit like this Korg mixer/recorder/editor.
