Ringside Muay Thai Heavy Bag: Stitching

The bag is 13" wide, 72" tall, and weighs 100 pounds–it comes pre-filled, so all you have to do is hang it. The bag comes with a metal chain with a large carabiner snap link and swivel. This bag does not come with a hook on the bottom of the bag–it is meant to swing freely.

Note that this is a full-length heavy bag, so you will either need a tall hook or will need to double up on the chain. The hook for my stand is at about 7’ 3", so I just clipped in my own carabiner through one of the chain’s loops to allow the bag to clear the floor.

Ringside Muay Thai Heavy Bag: Chain and Zipper

The bag material is powerhide (synthetic leather) and there is zipper access on the top of the bag. There were no patches stitched to the sides of the bag to cause abrasive issues. The packing seems moderately dense–it’s firm, but soft enough that you can strike confidently. However, note that the bag is relatively narrow, at about 41" in circumference–this bag is not as thick as some heavy bags I have and so it bends/caves more when kicked in the middle.

Ringside Muay Thai Heavy Bag: Carabiner Snap Link

Overall this is a solid pre-filled, full-length heavy bag that comes with a long chain and swivel. The Ringside Muay Thai Heavy Bag is best for those looking for full-body striking, such as with MMA and Muay Thai training. Work those low kicks!
